All you need to do is take a screenshot of that comment and open up your gmail then send it to your teacher. Your teacher might instantly remove it and you can also tell a family member that you trust !

For this reading task I have asked questions on the book "The zoo debate" and my buddy Soana has answered them. I asked her 5 questions that I knew the answer to and in my opinion I think she done pretty well. I would definitely test her again.

Maths warm up task

For todays maths task I done 2 slides of word problems to warm my brain up for this week. On this task I was answering 2 slides of word problems everyday untill all 10 slides were completed. I have enjoyed doing this task and I am now ready for challenging maths problems.

Where i'd rather be ( Cybersmart Challenge )

 

I would rather be in Waikaremoana because I would love to visit the lake. The lake is so clear and it is very much fun when you are swimming in the lake. You can jump of the edge and splash around. When you are cold you can lay on the concrete where it is nice and warm. I love going to Waikaremoana because it is a open space where you can swim at any time.

Aotearoa Te Reo Place Names

For this Te Reo task I have answered some questions about Te Reo place names in Aotearoa.  I have watched a little episode of Tiki Towns on youtube and this video gives you all the answers to the question so all you have to do is listen very cafefully and put your answer down.

Prototec Basic Facts ( Maths Practice )

 

Kia Ora tangata,

For this task I went on this website named prototec. Prototec is a website for you to practice your maths and there are different stages on prototec aswell. As I went onto prototec I thought I would give stage 6 a go and try my best. I didnt do bad on stage 6 but I would keep going on stage 6 and then move onto stage 7 when I get atleast 100% to 95% three times. 

How far is Waikaremoana to Panmure Auckland ( Cybersmart Challenge )

Todays Cybersmart challenge I researched how far it is to Waikaremoana from my home. This task didn't take long at all and it was also a very easy task. 

Google Meet Ready ( Cybersmart challenge )

For todays Cybersmart task we are getting ready for Google Meet. On goolge meet it is important to leave your camera on and keep your mic off. It is also important to have a plain background so people do get distracted by your surrondings.

For this Teo Reo task I have extended my pepeha. I have added a few lines into my pepeha and I have made a screencastify about it. Here is a video of me saying my pepeha I hope you enjoy. 

Multiplication

Todays maths task was about multipulcation. For this task I made a copy of a slide and there would be a image on one slide and I had to multiply how many rows and how many objects there were. This task was really easy and you can get better at multipulcation while doing this task. 

Animation on Olympic ( Basketball )

Look what I made ! Today I made a animation on basketball and this was very easy because I have been doing so much animations. I hope I've been upgrading and getting more good at animations because as I keep doing animations I get very into them easily.

How much to fill it

Today's maths task is about how much litres this container or object can hold up to. This task didn't take long at all, I done this task on arbs and arbs stands for "Assessment Resource Banks". Arbs has loads of task you can do and it can help with your learning.

Softball report writing

Today's writing task is about the olympics and Softball. There are many facts you can learn from and I hope you learn more information about Softball and the Olympics. I watched a video from one minute one sport and learnt so much about Softball in that one minute.

Venn Diagram

 

I discovered so much about lemons and strawberry’s! I made a Venn diagram on 2 different fruits.The two different fruits I picked were lemon’s and strawberry’s, I picked lemon’s because they are sour and I  picked strawberry’s because they are sweet. There are a few facts on this image and you might learn more about lemon’s and strawberry’s. 

Travel times

 

For this task I used my brain to figure out how much hours it is to travel to a island, city or a country. At first I found it abit difficult but as soon as I done the first one it became much easier. 

Matching shape

Today’s task was about matching the shapes together. The same looking shape is on a different angle so it was a bit harder. I used the lines on google draw and shaped them together.

 On the 8th of July we went to Glen Innes pak n save. We looked at different foods to check the labels on the back and learn about what sort of ingredients are in them and measure how much there is with the numbers.

 Task description:For this task we created posters with Kaikohau to celebrate matariki in our class. A kaikohau means to express your hopes and desires.

Maths task : Solving maths problems

 This task is mostly about subtractions , This is one way I sort out subtractions. 

 There are many more ways that are easy to sort these kind of maths problems out.

Show don't tell sentence

 

 Rm 5 done a show not tell  Tchart. We are learning to do showing sentences instead of telling sentences because thats what authors do in some books . 

PwC visitors

On Wednesday the 2nd we had some visitors from PWC the meaning for PwC is Price Waterhouse Cooper , Why is it called that you may ask ? Well it is three people’s last name. They came in to help us with payment, Borrowing and earning . We had learned so much from our visitors and they were so helpful ! The Ceo of Pwc is a very lucky man named Mark he has the highest job there. There were two more people with him named Darryl and Josh , Darryl is the manager and Josh is a new worker there so he just goes around places to see if there shop needs to be stocked with food and drinks , Eg: KFC.They introduce themselves and we started to do many activities. We had 6 teams with 3 people in the groups, We had 3 teams on one side and the other team on the opposite side. The first activity included hula hoops and mini bean bags, In the 3 hula hoops had numbers in them the first one was $5 second was $10 and the last one was $20 we had to try and get them into the numbered hula hoops and we earned fake money. My team had earned $112 we were called pna and that standed for our shoe brand can you guess what we were wearing ? With the money we earned we had to buy things in need and maybe things that we just want . As soon as we done that we had to send our money up and get a card of what we want and that was the end of that game. We had a chance to be chosen for a activity about lending and borrowing other people's things in need. Our final game was to go back into your groups you were in from the start and make a sentence adding into your writing borrowing and lending. We had 5 minutes to finish our writing , We didn’t have much time because we only had little bits and pieces to add onto our writing. After all that each group had to present their writing to the class. 

Task description : Thank you so much for the visit to Rm 5 at Glen Taylor School. I hope to see yous again and I really enjoyed the fantastic experience to our class !

Eva and the Witch

 The wild forest where there were all sorts of houses that looked haunted but inside it might not be as bad as it looks on the outside. There were witches and a little girl named Eva. The trees on each side are special because the tree on the right has important potions that are used by the witches. The witches live on the floating island all the way at the back . Did you see Eva chilling by the left side tree ? Well the witches and Eva are enemies.

The witch would always go to Eva's tree house around 8pm and disturb her, Eva would just stay in her tree house and play with her toys she stole from the tree house that the witches owned. Eva would enter the witches' tree house when she was asleep.

Eva goes outside to get fresh air,  She tells herself that she needs to step up and needs to start setting up traps so the witch wouldn’t disturb her. She starts to go around and gather up all the ingredients and utensils she needs. Once it was night she went to bed and let the action happen...

Animal testing

In my opinion I think animal testing shouldn't happen to anmials, the reason I think that is so there health can be normal.  There are different types of medicines they get , Some are actully really good for them and can help them. We should stop animal testing for many reasons. They can die from getting tested or after getting tested , I feel like it's not a good idea to that!
