Task description :  This task we had to figure out these maths questions.

Today my buddy  Khin lin and I worked on this task. We were writing about how the charcters feel. We had  to write similes and personifications.

Maths task : Solving maths problems

 This task is mostly about subtractions , This is one way I sort out subtractions. 

 There are many more ways that are easy to sort these kind of maths problems out.

Show don't tell sentence

 

 Rm 5 done a show not tell  Tchart. We are learning to do showing sentences instead of telling sentences because thats what authors do in some books . 

PwC visitors

On Wednesday the 2nd we had some visitors from PWC the meaning for PwC is Price Waterhouse Cooper , Why is it called that you may ask ? Well it is three people’s last name. They came in to help us with payment, Borrowing and earning . We had learned so much from our visitors and they were so helpful ! The Ceo of Pwc is a very lucky man named Mark he has the highest job there. There were two more people with him named Darryl and Josh , Darryl is the manager and Josh is a new worker there so he just goes around places to see if there shop needs to be stocked with food and drinks , Eg: KFC.They introduce themselves and we started to do many activities. We had 6 teams with 3 people in the groups, We had 3 teams on one side and the other team on the opposite side. The first activity included hula hoops and mini bean bags, In the 3 hula hoops had numbers in them the first one was $5 second was $10 and the last one was $20 we had to try and get them into the numbered hula hoops and we earned fake money. My team had earned $112 we were called pna and that standed for our shoe brand can you guess what we were wearing ? With the money we earned we had to buy things in need and maybe things that we just want . As soon as we done that we had to send our money up and get a card of what we want and that was the end of that game. We had a chance to be chosen for a activity about lending and borrowing other people's things in need. Our final game was to go back into your groups you were in from the start and make a sentence adding into your writing borrowing and lending. We had 5 minutes to finish our writing , We didn’t have much time because we only had little bits and pieces to add onto our writing. After all that each group had to present their writing to the class. 

Task description : Thank you so much for the visit to Rm 5 at Glen Taylor School. I hope to see yous again and I really enjoyed the fantastic experience to our class !
